The Choir.
      Every Thursday night the choir members would arrive for practice when the conductor would have us to go through the hymns for the following Sunday and usually one or two anthems. There was a commaraderie among the people thus engaged and each one endeavouring to give of their best.
      I remember one Christmas the boys were to entertain the ladies to a supper and they did so royally.
